Help Galaxy S3 Weather Widget!!!

[JasonBurtonBab]

Hello all,

I am hoping someone can help me with this. I would like to put the Galaxy S3 weather widget on my new Galaxy Note 3 but i dont know where or how to do so. I think its better than the stock weather widget than comes with the note 3. Does anyone know what i am talking about and how to do it?

I don't know which one is the stock S3 weather widget, but there are dozens (if not hundreds) of them in the Play store. Find one you like.

I moved this to the Note 3 forum so fellow device owners can help you figure out the compatible widget.

For those new to Android, my recommendation would be to go with a reputable 3rd party widget app, such as HD Widgets or Beautiful Widgets. Both of those apps will pay for themselves, after moving from device to device.

Luckily, I purchased both on sale and now I have too many choices, but all of them far exceed anything I used from any of the OEM's.

You don't say where your from, but the BBC here in the UK do a very nice weather widget.

The Stock S3 weather widget is acuuweather. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.accuweather.android

UPDATE:

Now that I installed it I see the OP is talking about Weather Widget but the S3 has the older version without the holo clouds. Thiw accuweaather widget is not to bad but it's taking a long time going through the initial setup.
