Galaxy S4 Cases and covers!

I have an Otterbox Defender for my Galaxy S4. However, it is now FILTHY and I can't figure out a way to clean it (the silicon part, not the screen). Anyone know what might work??? It went from being a bright raspberry to a very gross raspberry. I've tried a number of random cleaning solutions including a Magic Eraser, and no luck. My work phone is an iPhone and the Otterbox on that much be a different material, because it is still the same color it was when I bought it. ANY/ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED. Thank you!

I've been partial to the geeky leather holster style cases, but what I've seen on Amazon is usually cheap crap. First complaint from people is the stitching fails, and they're selling them for like $5. What kind of quality can you get for $5? The $20 cases don't seem any better. I like the way some of the Spigen cases look, but it seems you have to put them in your pocket.

I'm more partial to the geeky cheap cra*p leather cases. They seem to last almost as long as the much more over-priced ones, and when you replace them, you can do so guilt free. I am going on 10 mos. with my current case and it does not need replacement yet even though I bought a new one to have it ready to use when I need it. (Bought them on Ebay.)

I would try cleaning with a 50% solution of Simple Green using a toothbrush.

Spigen Galaxy S4 Case Slim Armor View | Spigen

Trying to find a Black Slim Armor View Case for a reasonable price. $50 is just out of the question for a thin piece of plastic imo. Especially since the S4 has been out for almost a year now.
I've seen some around the net for $10-$15, but I'm sure those are knock offs because they come in various colors, while Spigen only offers White and Black on their website.

Does anyone know where to find a good deal on one of these cases that's actually Authentic?
(Like I said $50 is ridiculous.
I have an Urban Armor Gear and a SG Ballistic Maxx case that were only $25-$35 a piece, and are more solid cases.

Also...
Does anyone know of a holster that works with this case?
I imagine it would be hard to find one that would work because of the hinge, but it would be great to know if someone has found one to work.

I took the easy way out and went with a Black Incipio Dual Pro. Had the same design for my Nexus and it withstood a 6 foot drop onto a concrete floor without a scratch. How I have no idea as it should have been in pieces. I think the best cover is just do not drop the darn phone.

I too have the Samsung wireless charging cover and my cases won't fit anymore. Has anyone found a case that works with the Samsung wireless charging cover?

I really like this case. I have the regular Slim Armor, and would love to have the screen cover built into this case if I really want hard screen protection. It looks like it is a matte black finish where the original Slim Armor is a shiny black.

I also bought the Samsung OEM Wireless charging cover and pad, and the Slim Armor will NOT fit over the Samsung OEM wireless charging cover. It adds too much bulk and the original Slim Armor won't fit.

Does anyone have the new Slim Armor S View, as well as the Samsung OEM wireless charging cover, and can you say whether the new Slim Armor S View case will fit over the Samsung OEM wireless charging cover? If not, then I won't have a choice but to get a 3rd party slim wireless charging receiver if I want to use a case and wireless charging.

I've been case free for months and considering getting one of these.
You will definitely have signal degradation with that metal rear cover. I use
1
this metal bumper with a replacement carbon fiber rear cover.

Thanks for that. Shame that's in the US. I'll see if there are any UK sellers. Appreciate your reply

I ordered my first tempered glass screen protector today. Always used the plastic ones, so this will be different!

Still debating whether or not I want to try the Spigen Neo case. It doesn't seem to offer much protection, especially to the face of the phone. Is there a raised lip?

I haven't had any problems with my lifeproof nuud case at all I love it. It seems to me that the only ones who ever chime in our write about lifeproof are the ones that receive a problematic case. Not the ones who have no problems with them.

I second that COULTERJOSH.. I love mine too and have had NO PROBLEMS with it at all!

I did get a waterproof case recently but it's Seidio Obex with belt clip holster combo. I got it on amazon. Works great and doesn't affect the sound quality at all. People can hear me fine and I can hear people fine.
