Howdy. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4.2 installed (Verizon).
Am using Google Maps.
Despite installing the high quality voice, I still have the default female computer voice when doing voice navigation.
A hard reboot after deleting the cache did not resolve the problem.
Going into settings/ my device / voice to text
then
changing the speech mechanism from Samsung to Google to use it had no effect either (before or after the hard reset).
Do other people have this problem? The downloaded and regional voices sound much better than the stock robo voice...
