Galaxy S5 still compatible with Gear 2 after rooting?

I thought this question would have been answered already, but I didn't see anything. Would rooting a Galaxy S5 have any effect on its compatibility with Gear 2? If so what would you guess would specifically cause the problem?

Yes it would, in short.

Basically the Gear 1 was nice because you could root your device, then root the Gear 1 because it ran on Android.

However, the Gear 2 runs on Tizen, Samsung's OS, which at this moment as far as I know, doesn't have a root method.

Rooting your Android device then leaving the Gear 2 on Tizen will make the Gear 2 unusable.

However, I know some ROMs that support Gear Manager, it's just random on whether the device will be able to pair up with it or not.

not sure why the gear 2 would not be compatible with the galaxy s5.....they should be. everything i read said that it is......so there should be no reason to root your s5 just to make the watch work for you.
