Help Galaxy SII ICS update gone wrong

Hi,
I have updated my Galaxy S2 to ICS 4.0.3 via kies. Since then I get "Charging paused, Voltage too high" error. Which I know now is very common. I have tried tips and tricks suggested on forums but they did not work. I also tried to reset phone to factory settings and it did also not work.

Now I decided to try and flash it and go back to old Gingerbread, but I can't even do that because my phone is now not recognized by PC or kies. Nothing happens when I plug the cable in. Again, I tried various things to make it work without a success.

I'm sick and tired of all this. What should I do ? Should T-mobile(uk) or Samsung should fix this for me ? (i don't have insurance, but should warranty cover this? did I void any warranty by upgrading to ICS ?)
If not, what should I do ?

Thanks

Hello and welcome to Android Forums silkysmooth!

Sorry to hear about your problems with your upgrade to ICS.

To answer your question, provided that you upgraded to the same CSC code as your out-of-the-box firmware, which you will have done by using Kies, then you will be covered by warranty and you could just take it to a Samsung Service point and ask them to re-flash it.

It has been found that in some cases that the ICS update via Kies has become corrupted during the update process.... this more commonly happens on OTA, (Over The Air), updates which I do not, as a whole, recommend and is not used by the majority of carriers.

Alternatively, you can flash the stock firmware for your phone using Odin, as described under, "My firmware is not eligible for ICS yet but I want it now!, in post #1, here using the T-Mobile, UK, firmware, LPD, from here.
