Help Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Software Question

1) That's up to Samsung, since there's no phone carrier involved.

2) Since the tab is over 2 years old, they may never issue another Android update for it. 2 years is usually the cutoff.
 
Hello and welcome to the forums. I see you have a question about updating your Samsung device I would try kies to check for future updates since this tablet is 2years old anything can happen
