Help Galaxy tab 2 7.0 updates

Hello,

I have purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 which runs Android ice cream sandwich 4.0.3 (UAE). I know that Samsung has pushed updates to the Galaxy tab 2 to have jelly bean, but yet for some reason my tablet is showing me a "No updates available" message. I tried also Kies still have the same no updates message.

Should I root install 4.2.2? Or is there something I'm missing??

just got an update just now. Some minor changes. Have yet to look at it more in depth though.

Just got update to 4.2.2 here in the UK looks OK so far quite a few changes in appearance not had much of a play with it yet.

No new updates for mine, I'm still on 4.1.1.

Got the 4.22 update here in illinois about a week ago. The best change is the "move to sd card" for apps feature.
