Galaxy Tab 8.9 looks slow in videos?

Hey everyone. So I'm pretty much an Apple person, have iPhone 4 and iPad 1 but really getting sick of both. We use Google Apps at work and I'd like to switch to Android at least with my tablet first. My one issue with iPad is it's too big I find, I have a Kindle for my ebook reader and I love that smaller size so was interested in Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Was watching a lot of videos of it on YouTube from CTIA but I find it seems really slow, like when they swipe to different pages on the home screen it's not fluid and seems choppy. Was watching Xoom videos and it seems much faster and smooth. Do you think it's due to it being a prototype and not a final device? I hate things that are slow so I think that would be my biggest issue with switching, if it's choppy or laggy in any way. Hoping it's because it's not released yet but wanted to see thoughts as otherwise I could just buy the Xoom or something right now. Thanks!

Samsung said many times that the software at CTIA was NOT the final version.
Even the hardware wasn't the final version!
They just wanted people to get familiar with the add ons of touch wiz.
Don't worry, it won't be slow.
A lot of people, me included, are waiting patiently!:D
