Help Galaxy Tab making a call over bluetooth?

Is there a way to load an app or use the galaxy tab like a Bluetooth earpiece?

For example.... I'm sitting on the couch using the Galaxy Tab on the internet over WIFI. My phone is on the table and suddenly I get a call. Instead of getting my fat ass off the couch I use an app to pick up the call over my galaxy tab. just as I would using a Bluetooth earpiece.



Not really a necessity. Just think it would be pretty PIMP!!

I'm wondering where you own your tab, in the U.S. where the phone functionality has been removed (still allowing for Skype, etc), or the U.K. or other location where it remains?

I own the Galaxy Tab in the U.S from sprint. I do understand that the calling feature was removed but i was looking more into using some type of bluetooth earpice app of some sort. is there anything like that? My cell phone is the HTC Evo 4g. Thanks

Bump - I went to the skype forum and asked the same question, nadda so far. It would be super pimp in the car esp with nav. I've made calls from skype when I have trouble finding my destinations.

Hi, i'm new here. Just found this forum in my search of using a bt earpiece. I have a tab from europe so i can call. The lantronics voyager 520 is paired but does not do a thing with a skype testcall, any ideas? Btw, sorry to hear the us models have no call function?! That's a pitty!!
