Galaxy Tab navigation app - roaming charges??

The navigation app seems to work OK for local travel. We are planning a road trip to BC - Canada next month. Wondering if Verizon charges roaming fees for use of nav app in Canada?

Thanks, I found some useful info at verizonwireless.com/globaltravel, in particular info for trips of less than 21 days. You need to use the VZ Navigator and then purchase a short term international data plan. (1-800-711-8300)
