Galaxy Tab Plus P6200 Jellybean update rolling out!

Just updated a while ago to Jellybean! Cool! According to Sammobile, 13 variants have already received the update via Kies or OTA.

One word of warning though, This update changes your notification bar. You no longer have the combined notification and navigation bar at the bottom. The device looks more like a phone. The bottom bar now holds the back, home and multitask keys, with the arrow for the mini-apps, while the notification bar goes to the top:

You mean OTA? Yes its safe. However you may lose your setup. Kies has a UDP(User data protection) protocol which is able to restore your setups as it is. This is not guaranteed if you don't use Kies.
 
I have the GT P6210, and checked for updates. Said there were No Updates Available when I checked. I am in the USA, and don't have access to a Windows PC or Samsung Kies. Can I install Jellybean from the Tablet?

I think that only works if you have a carrier branded device and it gets pushed to you. You need to use Kies. You can check Sammobile.com if you already have the update for your device. The linked Inposted is for the P6200.
 
Installed Kies to a new PC yesterday.

Tried an update to my WiFi only 7.0 Plus (2610.

No update to JB available, so Samsung has not rolled this out here in the US as far as I can tell.

Sucks.
 
updated and have to change the router since the tablet cannot use the home connection; wifi works nearly everywhere except at home :-(

I was referring to doing a hard reset for the router

have tested the tablet at 2 different connections and the tablet could connect

guess it is time to change the Linksys WAG200G router
