Nice what do you have done to your flex to get it to run so good?
My time in my sig is with a bone stock car. it now has h/c/i havent taken it to the track yet but should be a low 12. Here is a picture of my Stang just turned 16000 miles.

That's one sharp Stang you have there. My Son has a 90 Coup that I helped him build, 4cyl, 5 lug conversion. The Flex has a CAI and a Tune by Unleashed. Stock it went 14.25 @ 98. EcoBoost is Fords key word for twin turbo. It weighs 5,000 lbs with me in it. It has the same set up as the Taurus SHO.

This pass was stock.

End of HiJack.

Thanks man. Are you going to do any more mods to it? I bet that suprises alot of people. Now they need to put that motor in a mustang

I might try another tune and maybe some lighter shorter wheels, this thing comes with 20's and their heavy. it should have some really low 13's left in it. Here is my 2005 Mustang GT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwcRC-597kI I plan on getting a bluetooth OBDII adapter and the Android app for performance monitoring and use it with the Galaxy Tab and the car mount. I should be able to use it for 1/4 mile and 0-60 testing. The 7 in screen should look awesome. I think they have an app called tourque in the market that does most of this.

Have you tryed evolution performance? there in pa they are good guys and there tuner is the best in the country john lund. Hmm may have to try that myself in my stang. Nice run. what else you have done beside the kb?

I used Evolution when the Mustang was stock but with the KB I only trust JDM. The engine, and Auto Transmission is stock other than a 3,000 stall converter and hardened input shaft, stock exhaust with gutted cats and flowmasters, and 4.10 gear with 305x45x18 Nitto NT05R's. Mustang went 11.35 @ 119.44 with 1.56 60ft last month.

JDM is good to. Nice time with the auto to. i have a buddy that had a 07 califorina special that went 11.20 with a whipple threw a auto. now he has a new 427r Rousch.

Well i got the car dock today. Wow is it awesome works great in the car and you can use the camera on the tablet to while driving to its great so now you can use the video also. So it is worth the money for sure and you get the car charger to with it so its a win win.

Does it charge while the Tab is powered on?

I just tried mine out in the Flex. One big issue found. If you do a media stream through the Sync system, the voice and video is way out of sync. I wonder if it's even fixable through better drivers or not? The only other option is a stereo cable tether through the 3.5 mm jack in the console. I hate cables though.

I hope TOrque works as well on the Galaxy tab as it does on phones. By far an awesome app. Ebay has decent odbII BT adapters as well from what I hear.

First, I got my Samsung Keyboard dock today. It works okay but it's a little buggy. The Music functions don't work all the time and all of the media buttons seem hard coded to Samsungs apps and wont work with alternate music players or video players. Hopefully there is a hck for this sometime in the future.

As for the Torque program, I ordered an ELM 327 bluetooth adapter from Amazon for 39.99 plus 7.00 for expidited shipping. I'll report back as soon as it gets here. The app seems to work great by itself but I will see how it does with the adapter once it arrives.

Edit: Included from another post..

Here is a picture of the mount. It has a sliding plug assembly. You snap the Tab into the cradle and then slide the plug into the receptacle to make contact. The cable that they supplywith the mount has USB on one end and a right angle coaxial on the end that goes into the mount. There is only two wires inside of it, positive and negative. Also of note, putting the Tab in the mount and pluging in the power cable puts the Tab in Car mode. I don't know what that means or does yet but it's interesting. Also I did not use the supplied suction mount. The cradle is 4 point richter so I mounted it on a cell phone bracket that I installed using double sided 3m tape. It holds perfect.

I like how as you scroll through this thread you see galaxy tab, random accessories, cars, car engines, races, and then more galaxy tab.
Gotta love forums!
