Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra

Still enjoying it, although a weird bug has me waiting for the Ultra 2 next month. "Raise wrist to wake" keeps turning itself off a couple of times a week. I submitted feedback on it, so I hope a new update will fix it.

ALmost a year in, any updated thoughts? I have the 6 Classic, talked myself out of the Ultra multiple times.
i love the ultra's band. its the best band, i never had to switch it out. most bands i am allergic to, but not this one. i love my ultra. i am also digging the battery life as well. i had the 6 classic as well and i can get easily 3 days with having to charge with the ultra. the classic i got 2 days and maybe 3 days worth.

One UI 8 Beta is open for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra!

Samsung finally offers a $250 trade-in for last year's Galaxy Watch Ultra for the new 2025 Watch Ultra. However, that's still $350 for an upgrade that just doesn't seem adequate to justify the expense. The OG Ultra does what I need it to do (which is track my sleep and activity; show my notifications; and tell me what time it is) so it will be on my wrist for another year.

I haven't worn my smart watch yet this summer. It proved to be a very useful tool when I was working but not so much now that I'm retired. I used it to determine if I needed to fetch my phone from my pocket for a call or text and to pause my toons if I needed to communicate with someone. I bought the watch for it's BP monitoring ability but found that in the USA I had to join a study group for the feature to function. I was more than upset.
