Help Galaxy Y Camera stopped working..Soft format?

Hi everyone, I've had a Galaxy Y for 4 months now. My phone works perfectly except the Camera doesnt start. My other camera apps start, but my main camera doesnt.

I went to the Manage Apps and cleared the data and cache, but it doesn't help. Is there a way to solve this?

Is there a way to soft format?

Also if I hard format my phone, will I have to install EVERYTHING again? Including SD card stuff for all my stuff to work properly?

I just upgraded it to the latest firmware and the problem got solved.
