Help Galaxy Y - Connectivity Issues, help please!

Gluon2

Newbie
Hey.

My Galaxy Y has been rooted and I have Clockworkmod flashed.

Here's what's wrong:

  • Wi-Fi connects, but does not get me Internet.

  1. There's nothing wrong with the router (it works on everything else I use it with)
  2. I tried using every combination of Security (TKIP/AES/WPA-2, etc.), and using a static IP on my phone, it still doesn't work.
This problem could be fixed by factory resetting the last few times..
But this time, even after I factory reset a few times, it's still not working.

  • Not even Packet Data works!

  1. Packet data does not even connect.. I checked, and I have an internet connection ready on my phone. But it doesn't work. It doesn't even connect!
  2. This won't work after factory resets either..

Oh, and I'm not sure if this is relevant or not, but

After I factory reset (the last few times), I got a few error messages like "com.android.phone has stopped working, force close?" and "messaging.phone has stopped working, force close?"

What should I do? Please help.:(

Are you using a CustomROM? Which one?
I'm not using a custom rom. I didn't change that. I just flashed ClockwordMod while rooting it.. I've had it the same way since like 7 months ago, but this only happened like 2 days ago..

From what I've read up.. my motherboard has been fried or something? :S
