Help GalaxyS2 - home notifications wont go away!!

i have the little orange circle with the number 2 in it at the top of the drop down screen, that i just cant figure out what it is notifying me of..

when i open the drop down screen there are no notification there.

i have been through all my emails (i have non that have not been read) i have looked through applications tab and none of them have symbol saying they need updating or have any notifications on the actual widgets at all!

is there anyway of working out what the specific notifications are for??

Usually, when you drop the notification bar down it tells you what the notifications are for.

Have you tried turning the phone off and back on again and seeing if it's still there?

worked! i feel abit silly now, why didnt i think of restarting it. thanks mate.. how do i give your profile a "thankyou"?
