Gallery App organization (unrooted)

Is there anyway to organize the photo gallery into separate albums or folders? My Gallery app lists everything including thumbnails (in date order newest to oldest I think) tho I separated into several folders on my NC. A nice app if it were useful.

Connect your NC to your computer via usb and it'll be assigned a driver letter. Create some folders on it and rearrange the pics.

I have 5 folders set up within My Files, Pictures. When I use the Gallery app there are only 2 choices Grid or Slideshow. In either view all photo images in the device including SD are displayed and there is no way I can find to only view one folder or select a group either as grid or slideshow. Am I missing something? Thanks.
