Help gallery bug?

I'm typing this from my tb so bare with me!

I've noticed that some pictures that I take with my phone aren't showing up in the gallery app. I then go through the astro app to my sd card and the pictures are there. Any suggestions for a fix? Thanks.
 
When i take a picture, i can then open the "Gallery" widget and it shows all my synced pic folders along with a "Cameral Shots" folder. It dumps all phone pics into that folder.
 
I have seen this issue from time to time, however I can't figure out how to create the bug, and it happens inconsistantly. What I did was download the app SD Card Rescan from the market. Then when I open my Gallery and notice there are pic missing I simply run that app and then all the pics are back.

I have only had it happen a couple times.

Actually had the same thing happen to me. I took a couple of pics, immediately sent them via text to someone, but when I went back later to resend them to someone, they were gone. However, later on after a restart of my phone, they were there in the gallery again. Kind of bizarre bug if you ask me.

Now that you mention it, I think all of mine it happened with were ones that I shared... hmmmm... Like I said though a quick rescan of the SD card (either with an app, by umounting and remounting the SD card, or a reboot) fixes the issue.

My guess is that sharing the pics might cause them to be temporaraly unreadable by the SD card.
 
I had a friend who had the same problem on this android phone (Cheap POS, can't remember the name). I did the same thing, went to Gallery, nothing. Opened Astro, browsed to DCIM folder and pictures! Opened Gallery and there they were. Made no sense.

Thankfully haven't noticed this on my TB yet.
