Root Gallery Issues - Droid X running Apex

I have rooted my Droid X and put the Apex 1.3.1 Rom on it. Everything has been working fine except I am getting some really screwy results using the 3D Gallery App.

After I take a picture and the review period is over, when I tap on the gallery image in the lower left hand corner of the screen I would expect to see the photo I just took come up first but it doesn't. Actually it seems lucky if I can find the picture I just took anywhere in there, when I can find it it is way on the opposite end.

I have also noticed when taking video clips, that they don't show up at all from that direct gallery launch. If I go back to the home screen and launch the Gallery app directly I can find the video I just shot.

Anyway this is very odd and even difficult to use and disappointing when you want to show off the picture you just took and it isn't there or really hard to locate. I am assuming others have had this problem and I am hopeful that someone has either an alternative or a fix to this problem?

Yes I had the same problem and posted it in the Apex thread. The only solution at the moment is to switch to the Motorola Gallery app using one of Fabulous' scripts. Check out the wiki for directions on scripts :)
