Help Gallery question -- pics lost

Hey all, I took about 9 pics or so on my new inspire, and I noticed that when i opened up the gallery only 2 were listed. I used astro file manager and saw all the pics on my drive, and could even view them via the gallery from there... but the gallery won't recognize them as existing anymore??

Is this a known bug? Did I do something? Happen to anyone else? Is there a way to fix it?

You can try shutting down the gallery via your settings under applications or with a task manager. Then re-open it, they should appear. Sometimes, the gallery takes a little time for them to show up but usually not. You can also try a gallery replacement app like Quickpic, that may also show them right away. Quickpic is also superior to the stock gallery app!

Yeah the stock gallery was sometimes taking its sweet time loading pics so I switched to quickpic, which I love. I think its easier to view the pics and I like how I can setup new folders.

Hmm.. interesting... I did see the pics in the gallery the first day... so at one point it must have already had them indexed... (I've only used stock apps so far so camera and gallery seem pretty well integrated to me....)

Regardless, I guess its a stock bug -- ill check out quickpic... thx for the tip!

FYI : I installed quickpic - and it sees everything just fine as expected.... So thanks for the issue - i guess the stock gallery has a bug - but i dont care anymore

WOW....THANKS....this has been a issue for months......this (downloading QuickPic)fixed everything.....important photos recovered.......thanks, again!!!!
