Hey all, having moved from the desire z to the sensation i kind of expected things 2 improve 10fold however like the previous 4 HTC handset's ive had nothings ever perfect... Still no regrets that 4 sure, its an awesome bit of tech! But 1 thing thats really stung me is the fact i bought Asphalt 6 HD and Modern Combat 2 HD which played lovely on me desire z but y not my sodding "flagship" phone. I get a message saying that basically its not compatible with my phone, neither are the games on android market. Contacted gameloft via email to get a reply telling me that it is a compatible phone and a couple of links to the downloads of the apk files, which still displayed same message. I have noticed on a couple of threads that people spoke about these games as if they do play on the sensation :S

Hopefully 1 of u may have the same issue or non at all and could fill me in on what is wrong lol.

chances are it's the sensations screen resolution/aspect ratio not supported by the app/game. I've seen a number of apps now that don't fit the screen properly so could be to do with that? If so, it's an app coding fault not the phone's.

maybe worth emailing them again asking if they support the sensations 16:9 aspect ratio?

Cleggy, I have downloaded and played Modern Combat 2 on my sensation, so it will work. Not tried the other game

update the firmware (settings -> about phone -> software updates -> check now) and try again - if it still doesn't work, while others with the same phone say it does, yours is probably defective and you should get it replaced under warranty

Well funny u should say that as the android update has just come out for me today and both games now cruise through gameplay without a care in the world. Its left me puzzled but yet a happy man!!
