Thanks gamevil. Can you fix the display sleep the game is not set for keeping display on. So when watching cutscenes phone goes to sleep.
 
What's the catch? In App Payments in a pay-2-win model?

There's no catch its totally possible to beat it no problem if you train your character correctly but you don't get orgins of life for free atleast not many. But they also make money through promotional offers from other companies. All optional of course and none of it gets in the way or required. A free game done right no ads.
 
After update does not load past new Gamevil logo. Running Droid X Gingerbread not rooted.

Also have issues with mutliple in game buttons, menu selections, etc taking multiple presses to register.

Almost everyone I know has installous on their ios device. I just think android users are more picky on what they will pay for. They not going to just impulse buy. Poweramp has over 250,000 downloads so does robo defense and all of these can be easily stolen plus ios has more countries who can buy. It's a lot of piracy on both ends just android users don't splurge to often also itunes cards etc. But yeah wish more android users got into gaming. I think Spectral Souls is selling well for a $15 app so everyone can't be cheap people like high quality stuff or high quality games for cheap. When you got a free ad version with basically the same gameplay why pay? If angry birds would of started at 99c and ad free I wonder how many sells would'ce got, I believe millions so its possible because its a good value and really good. Most really good apps go to ios first then come here well most people have already bought it or played it before. So android users are cheap or picky mostly and a lot have a low end android phone. Most ios user are splurgers any way who pays $125 for a plan these days not android users. Give people a good value, something unique, and high quality. Also you got to think what can you really do on ios device if you don't buy apps, nothing really. Android has some much that you can do with your time and mostly for free. Flash games, movies etc. When I pick up my ipod only thing I can do is buy & play apps for the most part its more of a toy in general. Apple set it up if you want to have fun you have to go through us.
 
The game developer stories sell well and fast too at $5. Just a lot people have ios devices and a lot of big developer go to ios first then want to android and get the same amount of sales a year later ain't going to happen. Ios developers usually have a bigger budget and some even with a huge budget still fail epicly. If you think about the millions of apps on ios from real companies how many actually fail its scary. Either you make a lot of money or you lose a lot of money. So many apps get that week of fame thanks to apple what's new section then fall of the radar forever. Android has more of chance to make it big and be seen for a long time if its a good app. Just a lot of free competition out there for peoples time. I notice a lot android users can play one app all day long too and be satisfied then another amazing ad supported app comes along it was just made this way by developers and users alike. There are 3 angry bird games, bubble blast, blast monkeys, poker online, etc. Just so much free content or free alternatives that developers provide with ads of course but many people have gotten use to it. Linux users are use to free too plus like I said a lot of countries couldn't and still can't pay for apps so they real got use to it or pirating cause that's the only way they could get apps. Google needs to advertise android for gaming which they should be doing soon which should change sales figures a lot. Most people go to ios devices for gaming after apple advertising.
 
An aside here, Gamevil, but can you do something about the ad-placement on phones? I have a Droid X, and the ads are intrusive. Often I don't need them in my field of view before I place a piece (or I need to place the piece on top of an ad and can't see what's underneath). I really enjoy the game, but the ads are just poorly placed. Keep them on the pause screen, but not on the game screen.

Like I said, just press "Pause" (before you unleash the Kamis) then press "Play". The ads will disappear and you can play the level with an unobstructed view. Easy peasy:)

I know that I can do that, but I shouldn't have to, you know? I wouldn't mind the ads if they didn't intrude on the gameplay.

I hope so, but we will see. The entire Google phone culture is still such that gaming feels like "such an aside." A lot of people clamor that they want more/better games for their devices, but the scene (forums, web coverage etc) are just not really set up to support that yet, they seem to be more interested in covering the broader spectrum of all that could be done with the device. That's fine, but it is very unfriendly to supporting small-time app development (and I expect the bigger devs don't want to spend time muddling their way through it either, at least for all "the usual issues" that make it not seem worthwhile)

I do see signs that things will get better on Android (the tech is there, and the mainstream is starting to kick in). It might be another year before things feel less sloppy, however.
 
Ok...so I'm loving this game, but recently I have run into some issues that cause me to want to throw my device across the room :) One of them being the game crashing...especially annoying when your on room 44 of a 50 room dungeon that you can't save in.... I'm hoping its not simply a device issue, but I'm thinking that it is not because this problem only recently started happening on my second character. The times that it seems to happen is when a lot of stuff is happening on the screen...which happens a lot in those dungeons as well as most parts of the game. This seems to suggest it IS a device issue, but this never happened once when I was playing on my lvl 69 sword knight...a significant chunk of time to have something go wrong, yet it didn't. Only when I started my nature shaman did it start happening around lvl 40. If someone could please help me out, hopefully the dev...but any help would be awesome.
One option I was considering was reinstalling the game, but I have not done this yet because I want to be able to transfer my save files to the new install....if someone knows how to do that, let me know :)
 
This has been one of the most enjoyable games to play for android!
Remember people if you get stuck or anything just go to Gamevil forum and there will be people to help you... if you want items etc just go and post in the trade centre (many people are giving away hard to get items for free!)
