games you wish were made for android

As I said in my other thread, I really really really want a good demolition derby type game that you can play multiplayer with. I'd really like it to have an in car view and have the option to just move the phone back and forth to steer the car.

I wish someone would make or port a decent RPG. Something like a graphical version of Angband, maybe Final Fantasy or one with the 1st person view like Dungeon Master.

More tower defense games. I can't get enough of them :)

Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back would be amazing!! I failed way too many exams because of these game!!

For Might and Magic, or Heroes of Might and Magic, any one of them, on my HTC Evo. Seriously... a TONNE OF MONEY. Also, any of the civ games or really any decent RPG or turn based strategy.

I understand the argument against turn based games on your phone... but for me, the longer it takes, the greater the appeal to have it with me.

Back in the late 80's, Electronic Arts put out a game by Binary Systems called Starflight. Starflight was a space exploration game that could be considered one of the first true "sandbox" games. The game started you at your starport with a ship and 12000 credits and basically told you to create a crew and "go forth, explore, and conquer young captain". But that wasn't the genius of this game.

This game was set in a galaxy of well over a hundred star systems, some in nebulas where your sensors were impaired. This game sported hundreds (literally) of planets, each with its own atmosphere, weather, mineral content and, many times, its own biosphere and life forms. The galaxy was populated with both friendly and hostile alien races and you had your choice on how to deal with them; either use diplomacy, or try to blast them out of the sky. But with all the genius of this game, that still isn't what I consider the true genius of Starflight.

What I consider the true genius of this game is that Binary Systems was not only able to fit this galaxy full of stars and nebulae, hundreds of planets and their contents, hostile and friendly alien races, and a plot which spanned the galaxy and time itself into one game, but were able to fit all of this on two double density 5 1/4 floppy disks. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, this award winning game, and it won lots of awards, fit and played in less than one megabyte of storage space!

I would love to see Binary Systems' Starflight on the android with updated graphics and a new user interface. I think that would be awesome!!

Thhanks fro reading my rant!!:):):)

I'm a sucker for PopCap games, so, Plants Vs Zombies. I am so addicted to this game on Steam and I'm pretty sure it's available on iPhone. Peggle is a good runner up too.

Hello Everyone,

I just bought my Android last month, and I love it. I am glad we have words with friends. I am also wondering if anyone knows if we are going to get a version for We Farm.

How about Mario 64 and Zelda 64? I guess maybe an N64 emulator would do lol.
I'd agree that fps are tough to play on phones and ipods. But, if they could come up with a good gameplay, Portal seems like it would be cool on Android as it is more puzzle based with no real "shooting."

+1 The Incredible Machine, Reel Racing, Sonic, and Final Fantasy (even though the psx emulator is looking pretty good).

Puzzle Quest mate. Create a character, move around a kingdom, get quests, build up skill points, learn new spells, capture enemies, cities, mounts...the actual 'battle' is done bejeweled blitz style. Sounds strange but SO addictive.

My sim card is in the Desire, but I still carry around my iPhone 'brick' so I can keep playing Puzzle Quest.

Let's Golf 1 and 2 are already available for android, and have been for a few months now. plus with the various emulators, you have the ability to run atari 2600, atari computer, amiga computer, nes, sega, playstation1, and gameboy games. Thats a HELL of a lot of classic popular games available!

I am pretty satisfied with the mindless games I have now on my android devices, so the only one I can think of that I really want is The Incredible Machine. that is the one I am wishing was available..
