Gapless playback

Hi there

I downloaded the Shuttle music app on my m8 for the gapless playback feature as it didn't appear to exist on the stock HTC music app however it isn't working, I looked it up and there doesn't seem to be any problem with Shuttle for others, so is this a problem with the m8 or is there an option I'm missing?

Out of all the apps I have ever tried, PowerAMP was the only one to get gap-less playback to truly work correctly. I have tried many free apps out there and all of them seem to mess it up one way or another. The only downside is the fact that it is a paid app
 
Thanks for the tip, PowerAMP has a trial version so I'll give it a go and see if it works. I do wish powerAMPs UI was more in-line Google and HTCs more minimal design, it looks quite ugly to me, but if it works who cares.
 
It works perfectly and there's skins! (yeah I'm new at this...) Now if only whoever made that sense 5 skin would make a sense 6 one.
