Garmin Mount and Otterbox Defender Combo

So I had a old Garmin GPS laying around. For fun I tried to fit my EVO in it. With some trimming of the bracket nub dohicky in top to shorten the width it fits right in. On a defender

Pretty cool, I noticed that you have a Sprint branded phone with a silver earpiece, I've only seen that on the plum model, is that what you have?

In short yes. I bought two used plums, letting my wife pick the one she wanted. That way she could pick the better looking of the two. As it ended up, the one she picked had issues and was sent back. They gave her a new black one and I kept the plum. Which she now doesn't like the plum and wouldn't switch. So I am rocking the plum.

They sent me one as a replacement, I actually like it because it's pretty subtle, not like it's screaming bright purple. I didn't even realize it until I saw the grill and then looked closer under sunlight.

The Sprint windshield mount I bought for use with my old Optimus V works for my EvoV with the defender on as well. It has the adjustable spring loaded arms and just BARELY squeezes in when fully open all I have to do it give the arms a little squeeze to tighten them a touch.
