Gazelle

[Pappy62]

Just for craps and giggles, I thought I'd check out Gazelle's website after seeing their commercial - and see what they considered my phone to be worth... excellent condition, no scratches - "No noticeable flaws, it looks like it has never been used", no water damage, all the cables and accessories, etc.... they valued the Esteem (in out-of-the-box condition)....
...drumroll please...

A whopping 8 dollars!
Yes, you read that right - eight whole US dollars!
Man... that's 800 Pennies!

WOOHOO!!! Now I can go to Vegas!

BTW - my old Optimus M, in the same condition, is worth 13 bucks to them.... go figure.
Those people have absolutely lost their minds.

They offered me 2 bucks for my Ascend Ahahaha!

Companies that offer to buy back your old stuff will never give you a good price.

Not offering a "good price" would be like 50-100 bucks, IMO... but 8 bucks is a laughable joke at best... actually, it's nothing more than an insult.
What blows my mind, is why the Optimus M is valued at 13 dollars, while the Esteem is only 8?
A Google search for "Gazelle scam" turns up some very interesting reading...
