Root GB and root

We are all impatient to get GB on our X2s, and of course we'll want it rooted. I created this thread so that whoever is able to get the OTA can let everyone else know if they were able to root GB using any of the usual methods, and which method they used (Gingerbreak, etc).

Hopefully we get this GB party soon!

Well Just FYI for anyone that gets the GB update...don't try rooting yet. That is the last thing you want to do is try and root it before any of the Devs get a chance to play with it.

Also if you are rooted now and you want to keep root i suggest you wait until news is heard that there is a rooted solution for the GB build.

Yes or at least have your SBF ready and read how to SBF 1st before you attempt to get root with an updated ROM that hasn't been "professionally" rooted. :)
