Root GB OTA without losing root?

I'm currently rooted running Perfect Storm 1.5 with Radio 2.75. Is there a way to keep root and accept the GB OTA? I like the setup I have, but just want to upgrade to GB without changing ROMS and losing data and apps.

Just flash a rom if you try to accept the OTA you will be soft bricked

Or you could just install TiBU or App Manager Pro, back up those apps+data, flash an updated ROM like SkyRaider Zeus 1.1, and restore those apps+data.

Thanks for the help. I flashed Liquid 3.0 but didn't like it. Then I flashed Gingerits 3D and it is pretty good. I think I'll stick with it.

Remember you can try out as many roms as you want, just make nandroids before wiping before a flash and if you don't like the one you flash you can restore back to the old one no problem.
