GBSandwich V2 now released with all bugs fixed... Please visit H E R E to download & enjoy GBSandwich V2 (Version 2.0.1). Changelogs below....

CHANGELOGS

  • All bugs of V1 fixed
  • Fixed Radio Sound. Now radio also has capability of Recording
  • Fixed front Camera (now GBSandwich with both cameras working & 8 Mp resolution with NON INVERTED FRONT CAM IMAGE
  • Fixed Force Close on Alarm Clock while setting alarm
  • Changed the launcher app. Much more smooother operations
  • Some UI changes. Now Secondary text color in ICS Blue
  • Centre Clock Mod implemented. Now system clock is in centre instead of extreme right.
  • Removed some apps to make the ROM a bit lighter
  • Added Scripts for handling buttery smoothness transitions
  • Music Player Changed to Sony Walkman
  • Revert back to GB Keyboard as ICS keyboard lags a bit
  • ADDED DOLBY DIGITAL, SRS WOW HD sound drivers to enhance sound quality. Now Beats Audio, Dolby Digital & SRS WoW HD all in one single package.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTONS

  • Download GBSandwichV2 from the link
  • Put the GBSandwichV2.zip in root of your sdcard
  • Reboot to recovery mode
  • Wipe all (Factrory Reset) Data & Cache
  • Wipe Dalvik Cache
  • Start Install GBSandwichV2.zip
  • Aroma Installer will start automatically & guide you through the Installation Process
  • After Installation is fully complete, Reboot your device.
  • First Boot will take more time, & may also seem to reboot once automatically. Don;t worry its totally normal.
  • Once device boots up, let it settle down properly till 1 or 2 minutes.
  • Enjoy GBSandwichV2 with Better Sound Experience, Buttery Smooth Transitions, & Better Camera Performance of 8 MP AutoFocus.

IMP NOTE : If status bar icons does not show up after the first flashing of the ROM, just drag down the status bar & put on airplane mode once & put off. Status bar would show up after the same. (Minor bug due to the Centre Clock Position, also notifications icons may overlap on the clock. Would solve them in the next update)

can it be directly flashed from recovery on our phone??
i mean it is for spice mi350n .!!
 
when i flashed this ...
gb sandwich logo appears and then a white screen appeared.!!
and this sequence is carried on.......
so my phone is not booting ...
what to do??
 
Here goes my story:
-I flashed the rom n suffered the above problem.
-Then nand backed up my previous rom.
then replaced the logo n boot.img with mmx new ver files. But after zipping It was a 195 mb file.
-the flashing aborted while flashing.
-Nand backed up again.
Then something struck me.
- I flashed the same above file again.
- Nand backed up the boot of previous rom via advanced back up.
N voila It worked.
Though It took a very very long time to boot up. Almost 3 times the boot after flashing. Thank god,I was patient.
N now m having one of the best roms ever
 
Can any of the senior devs or veteran forum members please mod the files for A75.....such that the problems faced by chughgopal and RD07 do not come to the forefront again?? :)

Silverlight was modded awesomely. This can be too ;) :D

flash the baseband file via cwm


flash logo via sp flash tools

dude it worked.!!
but in the system version settings its showing spice phone model.!! how to change that back to micromax..!!
 
HI guys,
One thing i have checked in this, i am not able to use ext2 as external partition,
So i reverted back to my good old JETMOD 3.

i am not a fan of DATA2EXT, so still sticking with lins2sd for this.

So Any one else is facing this issue?

i am using link2sd on GBS V2... no problem yet with ext2.:)
 
Is the sound quality increased in loud speaker in this ROM as if it has many things included and do anyone using it can share his views that does this works good on A75???

look guyes sound quality is good with headphones.!! but not good with phone speaker as in blue terror.!!
adv:-
-this is fluid rom and pretty fast..
-nice customizations
-nexus boot animation
-nice dialer too.. (at-least better then stock)
disadv:-
-pretty heavy rom
-low internal memory of only 50mb available after flashing but yes fully loaded with facebook and google chrome as well.!!
-keyboard is not ICS one as mentioned
-camera quality is bad with 8 mp camera settings .!!
-int2ext not working (idk why.. but i tried 2wice but it didn't work)

but in all if in any possible manner we could run int2ext deodexed by mastermind then this would be the greatest rom ever ... really smooth transitions.!!
 
lots of bugs are there in this ROM....like settings force close again n again, titanium backup hangs during apps backup, heavy rom, Running status in settings shows apps restarting...etc. so i revert back to LeWa...:D
 
So is it a good one or not as if have downloaded but dint flashed and need to know before flashing that its a good one or not cos since from last week my phone is just behaving crazy was on Anarchy and everything was working well n good but just to check had flashed LegoICE dint got WiFi working so reverted back to Anarchy and then the problem started now ext2 is not working recovery is not restoring d sdext backup had formatted d sd card with mini partition tool and created d partition but still was in problem so again formatted d card deleted d partition and made partition through recovery and tried the int2ext but dint worked when again tring to format d card with mini partition tool came to know that recovery is making Ext3 partition on sd card if partitioned through recovery so checked d system files and found that ext2 n ext4 support is ther in system but not Ext3 so formatted d card and made Ext4 partition on it and then on PC the Fat32 partition is not showing up only Ext4 was showing so deleted all d partition and just kept d card n now using d phone without partitioned or any other thing installed except the base Anarchy ROM so if someone can let me know whats d problem going on his help will be appreciated
 
yaar shahabazas same thing happens with me too.!!
when i am on blue terror using int2ext deodex then every thing works fine..
but when i go to try some other rom and revert back sometimes the recovery says sdext restore failed.!!
so i always have to begin from scrap.!!

yaar i did not faced a single force close on this rom.!! i am using this for 3 days and not really a single force close.!! but ofcourse camera quality is low with 8mp settings in low light area.!!


if in any way int2ext be stable on this rom then this would be a nice and stable release.!! i bet.. better then blue terror and fast too.!!
 
Ok tell me how to flash it as if i have the original GBV2 so what all i need to change to flash it i will flash and check it out myself.
 
using the very same our own recovery.!!! yaar..
just follow the old steps(clear data etc.) and then automatically aroma installer will prompt u to a touch installer..
and wait for some time ..

-after flashing the rom
-advanced restore the boot via cwm(of any previous rom backup)
-flash the baseband file via cwm
-flash logo via sp flash tools(i am facing problems here as sp flash is not detecting my phone)
thats all ...

the first boot of the rom will take a hell lot of time.!! as mentioned by some1 3 times the normal boot.!! go try out bro..!!
 
I just replaced d logo.bin, boot and d baseband in d zip itself then flashed d zip and its working fine only issues are in settings brightness forecloses and the sound is low like other ROMs

and haan i Got the internal memory as 789MB.

what is difference between Lego ICS and this ROM??? i think most features are same in both rom...even u can use sagarwep update Lego ICS V1.0.3 in GBSandwich V2..:D
