When GE introduced its latest C-series smart light bulbs, the focus was on affordability -- as they talked directly to your phone through Bluetooth, you didn't need a bridge device. Unfortunately, that also meant they didn't have advanced features like voice assistant functionality. Thankfully, that functionality arrives as part of the GE Hub update, which adds support for Alexa and Google Assistant.
