I have downgraded ATV1000 to 2.3 because it was not stable with ICS.
Is there anything can be done?

My ATV 3000 was working nice with GB with a 0.5GB HD into the bay. Also the app HiDTV was working more or less fine.
I've upgraded to ICS.
- No SATA disk mounted... Are any of you able to see the SATA disk in ICS?
- The app HiDTV in the spanish site doesn't detect the dongle...
- The enter key in the screen adjustment app not works.
I've found the original ICS from geniatech more reliable than the spanish mygica site. Spanish one has advertisment apps! and some apps are missing.

I use ATV 510 with Android 2.3.4 in. Also I use a hyroscopic remote with qwerty keyboard.
When I push some letter button for a little bit longer time Android shows a list of special symbols or letters to input.
I type Russian and there is no special cirillic symbols. So it make me nervous cos appers to frequent.
Does anyboy know how to turne it off?

There is no ICS version of HiDTV yet. We are waiting for Geniatech. I can still plug my external USB HDD and also mount a network drive with Cifsmanager app. About the sata disk, I don't know, mine is a ATV2000. Regarding the key... I haven't noticed.
I think the box works good with ICS, except for the HiDTV app.
Yes, it is supported already. Video call is running well now on ICS.

However all versions have a problem with Flashplayer 10.2 and must use a special version of it. All Android versions give a lip synch problem when watching Veetle video that disappears pretty much when watching Veetle video using the PeliculasHD app. Neither my phone nor my Android tablet has the lip synch problem.

Anyone with latest Gingerbread (june version), can you confirm a new audio menu in place of display? Please verify, as today I received an email from Geniatech saying this to solve the digital stereo output with the AC3 digital out connector.
There is no audio menu in display. Is there any one testing digital out put?
Sorry for the delay in response, I also have the 512mb. Skype works not the greatest quality but it does work rather well. Plex works & ES file explorer is sweet when pulling stuff off of my NAS. Other apps I have if Netflix, fruit ninja, MX player, Vulcano for using my moms American TV channels & everything is up to scratch. I have no problems. Let me know if I can be of any help.

I'm using the coaxial digital output of the ATV2000 since I have it. It works without touching any setting in GB and ICS in my case. The problem that I have is that in AC3 audio the voices are in the left channel, while the rest of sounds are correctly distributed in the stereo image
.i have a ATV 500 running latest ICS, it has some problems. when streaming videos, the app like veetle, youtube auto closes.
Does any one have this issue? May be the RAM seems to be low for this device 512MB, is there a way to increase it?

I have the latest ICS on my ATV1000 which has 512MB of memory and video streaming and YouTube are good. The exception be a voice synch problem with Veetle.
However streaming Veetle video through the Peliculas app or on other Android devices do not exhibit this problem.
With YouTube you need to have the latest version loaded and with video streaming and YouTube you need to ensure that you have NOT updated FlashPlayer from the special FlashPlayer 10.2 that came with the ICS update.
i use latest youtube and other streaming applications with flash player 10.2. the auto close happens only when playing video's in full screen otherwise it is fine. Did you tried playing in full screen?
Yes, all the time with no problems.

Upgraded my ATV1000 to latest 20120606 firmware from my 20120111 version, the results are that the unit wont boot at all, even after cleaning CACHE and USER DATA (Factory Reset). The result is a freezed Android Enjoy TV Logo, runing at 720p I managed to get that logo but never went to system, before that resolution change a Green logo splash stayed at screen.
To recover back I had to go back to SPI20111211 because 20120111 wont boot without it. I got it working again without problem by doing this:
1.- Use SPI 20111211
2.- Use Firmware 20120111
3.- Clean User Data and Cache
4.- Restart
Everithing works as usual. Even tryied the ICS versions and they don't like either the new SPI from 0606.
My device has 512MB as Geniatech expressaly wants but shows the errors reported back.

RAW - Audio Data(Dolby Digital 5.1), had only in firmwares:
- androud 2.3.4 - 20120317 or 20120606
- android 4.0.3 - 20120529
DTS - no sound, only stereo - is probably a problem with the license, if anyone knows how to put the library on android for DTS, please write.

Few more question about this nice device... ATV310
1. I have 20120606 firmware now and it work very well. But now I want to use external USB drive. Connect it to usb port... And happens nothing. Where in system I can view this extra storage device ? Need I some special settings or drivers for that ? I have an idea that it should be in mnt/SATA/ but here just empty folder not my device.
2. For some reasons when I use cable connection "google play" don't download anything untill I switch of cable connection and connect throught WiFi. It's very unusefull for me every time for market switch between cable/WiFi connections.
3. Is It possible to use that device in HotSpot mode ? So that WiFi be usefull to connect other WiFi devices throught mine ATV310 throught cable internet ? If it possible how to do that ?

I can write somewhere mine expierience about 100% workable applications and game and be happy to read other's expierience.
