I received my car dock today. I had purchased it at 25% off(32 shipped) but there was a link printed on the invoice http://www.att.com/thankyou that gives you 30% off chargers. This includes the multimedia dock, standard dock, and car dock. Unfortunately, the media and standard dock are currently out of stock. You simply click the 30% off then select Motorola then Atrix from the drop down boxes to show the chargers available. The discount should be reflected in the shopping cart.

Great price! I'm really loving mine. When in the dock it displays your direction and speed very accurately. In case you don't know the car dock doesn't come with a car charger just a USB cable and Audio cable.

Just FYI:
The actual Atrix Car Dock does charge the phone. The micro USB end plugs into the back of the dock and the other end is split to have both USB (for charging) and an aux jack (for music). I do understand that the dock does not include the actual part that plugs into the cigarette lighter, but you can find one of those cheap for like $10-$15 online. I love it. I dock it and it charges my phone and plays music via my car speakers and plays my calls via the car speakers as well. Only one little thing bothers me, the phone gets hot when it sits ther for an entire car trip (30-45 min). Not sure if this is normal, but it doesnt do that when I put it on the wall charger. All in all a great buy (until my phone goes up in flames on my car dash during a long trip) lol!

It's winter... do you have your heat on and your vents pointing in any direction other than directly away from your phone? If not, it's gonna get hot in my experience.

Edit: Just realized your avatar says you're in Florida. Maybe this isn't the case lol. Is the sun blaring down on your window and making the phone hot? :p
