Help Get files off Galaxy s2

Hi my niece has moved onto the iPhone and she's going to trade -in her old samsung galaxy s2 but the problem is she said she can't get her old files off her phone has anyone got any ideas what she can do

That depends on which files she's talking about. Pictures, music and videos can be copied to a computer. Contacts can be exported to a file - which can be copied to a computer. The apps won't do her any good, because Android apps won't run on an iPhone.

Thanks for your help I phoned her up and she says her phone does not turn on this being the reason why she bought a new one any ideas

Try charging it for sometime or use a new battery. If that doesn't turn it on, try the Download Mode combo. If that too doesn't work, use a USB Jig.
If the phone still shows no signs of life, its probably hard bricked and should be taken to a Service center.
