Get rid of custom rom?

Hello all---I bought a fascinate a while back and it already had a custom ROM on it. I'm getting sort of sick of it, if I factory reset my phone, will it go back to stock and just be unrooted?

If not, does anybody have any tips on doing what I want to do?

do a search on XDA for ED05 and find the odin file and follow the directions for unbricking your device, going from CM7 to any rom thread and once you do the odin and reboot, stop there, you will be 100% stock and unrooted. Just factory resetting does not unroot you
