Root Getting a Bit Confused...

Okay, so ever since all you wonderful people helped me flash the Backside ROM, all has pretty much been well except for the occasional freezing during Angry Birds. So the other day, I checked for ROM updates on my phone, and there was an update available, 20120313. I come here and see all kinds of new fun stuff--ICS, Quattrimus. If I'm updating my ROM, am I just downloading and flashing the 20120313? What is cm9? How are any of these different from Quattrimus? Yes, I feel like an idiot, but I get confused so easily! I just want the most recent build, but I don't mind goodies either. So what am I doing first? Thanks, guys!

Quattrimus is cm9. Quattrimus and backside are two different roms. Quattrimus is based on ics 4.0 & backside is based on gb 2.3. If youre updating backside, than you are updating it to 20120313.

On a serious note, the info you seek really can be found with a couple searches. If someone hasn't come along to help you tomorrow, I'll pitch in. But I'm even having to correct my spelling using Swype, so I know it's time for bed for me.
