Getting a little peeved at verizon... Going on my fourth replacement!

My first bionic had connection issues, it got replaced. My second one developed connection issues, it got replaced (They sent me an htc thunderbolt by mistake and the next day sent my third bionic). It has dust under the camera lens and the voice quality is garbly and distorted.

So my next one (4th) should be here on Tuesday.

I'll flip out if this fourth one goes because the next on may have ics, which some here know I do not want!

If that happens, I want the Galaxy nexus or the s3 samsung, if not? I want out of my contract and shut down my d+mn line! I can live without this technology, I already collected as much music as need! Lol

(Knock on wood, my bionic from ebay is rock solid!)

I have heard that if you send a phone in for a replacement, and it has dust in the camera, they can charge you 299 bucks! Fine, let me keep the phone, send me 299 bucks and I'll spend 5 bucks on the tools to clean it up myself!

Wait, the voice is screwed...

So you want the connection issues resolved but don't want ICS? You may end up unhappy then. Seems for many people, ICS finally solves the connection issues. If you get a Galaxy Nexus or S3 you're going to be using ICS or JellyBean anyway. I'm not familiar with your reasons for not wanting ICS on a Bionic. Hopefully your 4th works well for you. I am unable to relate as I am one of the people who have had one and only one Bionic and have not experienced what makes some people think this device is so broken.

I've had the same Bionic (and SIM card) for over a year. It is now rock solid. I'm in a 3G-only area 99.99% of the time though.

Are you using 4G?

I do not want ics on the bionic because of webtop 3.0

I bought this phone specifically for the webtop capabilities.

Other than that, I have nothing against ics.

After 3 replacements, if your fourth goes bad I think you well within your right to request something else... Several people in the Rezound forums have noted that VZW has a stock of Samsung GS3's in now and has been issuing them as replacements for "higher-end" devices that have been failing repeatedly, or perhaps even a Razr Maxx? You don't have to be forced to stay with the say model if you have been through several of them, significant complaining/whining will get you a suitable replacement in another model.
