Root Getting an Incredible!

Ok so currently I have a 2.2 nonsensikal rom on my Droid Eris. But I am getting a Droid Incredible this weekend. What is the most stable 2.2 rom, or 2.3 rom if there is any. And what is a good speed to overclock to with setcpu.
 
Most stable sense rom would be virtuous just because it's basically just stock with a few tweaks, but basically every 2.2 rom that is available is stable as long as you follow proper installation instructions.
For 2.3, the OMGB rom is stable and has been my daily for over a month. The CM7 rom has not released an official stable version yet but almost everyone reports that it works great.
 
CM7 works perfect in it's current state and is very very very fast. Flash virtuous, if you want because that is my sense rom of choice but then flash cm7. Night and day.
 
I currently use virtuous, never tried anything else, but I love it.

I am considering trying CM6 or 7, but I have only seen pictures no videos of CM.

What is so great about it? what is different? I currently use LauncherPro and have everything set up just about perfectly for me, what would CM offer??

Virtuous is good. Skyraider has two very good ones. CM6 and CM7 are both very good.

For just stability: Virtuous
For stable with a few tweeks: Skyraider
For best overall: CM7

This is almost word for word what I was going to post.

Virtuous is the most stable for Sense (as it's the least tweaked stock build), and CM 7 (Android 2.3.2) is very stable despite being in an advanced beta.

CM7 offers speed increase and the thought of running gingerbread is just sexy to us nerds. You also get all the new gingerbread ui tweaks.
 
I came from an Eris/nonsensikal ROM myself.

Skyraider Athena has the same style vanilla look as nonsensikal. It's stable and fully functional.

The other one I like is Redemptive rEVOlution. It's snappy and battery life is decent. I used the senseless version.

Both are worth checking out.
