Getting an unopened phone from Verizon?

I think I am going to pick up the S3 tomorrow. However, I would rather just get the unopened box and take it home, transferring what I need and leaving the rest, and activating it from home. Do they let you do that? It's not like I need them to transfer contacts because I can use Backup Assistant and my Google account. Thanks in advance.

I figured I could ask a Verizon SOP question on here like so many others have been asked. If I don't get an answer here, I will just ask tomorrow when I pick up my phone. No biggie.

Well it's pretty simple, tell the CSR exactly what you just told us you want. They can choose to comply with your request or lose a sale...

You can always order online and save some money over buying it in the store. I don't see why they wouldn't let you do it yourself buying from a store as all online purchases are activated from home anyway.
