Getting anxious for Froyo 2.2 NC update

If you buy a Nook at Best Buy, you can just return it if you receive the one you bought off of craigslist. There are no restocking fees at Best Buy right now.

Really? So I could unbox it, play with it, root it, etc... and then if the NC I ordered comes in within 7 days or so I could factory reset it, box it up and take it back for a full refund? That's not a bad deal, but the idea of paying retail + taxes for a big ticket item bugs me.

Edit: Went out and bought a new NC. My thinking is that either I'll get the NC I ordered or I won't. If I don't, I file a grievance with Paypal and get my money back or the guy refunds me the money and he goes after USPS for the insurance money. If I do, I sell the NC on ebay for $250 packaged up in the box and still end up out just $200 for my NC.

got mine today from bb :)
rooted and oc'd to 1.1ghz.

running great but i still have a lot to learn.
its hard to keep up with all the latest info when every week everything changes.

so on topic... yes a real froyo update would be very nice as we need a stock ruu for backups. i'm sure the kernel source would be good for devs as well.

Has anyone come across any new articles or comments from B&N regarding the upcoming update? You would think a leak of what's in the works would have been out there for all to read by now.

I went to BN today to buy a cover. While there I overheard a clerk tell a potential buyer that an update should be coming out by the end of next month. Or did she say this month? I can't remember now, but I can't imagine it coming out this month. I'm wondering if BN will be the first to issue an Android update that breaks root.
