Root Getting back stock keyboard on Liberty 1.5

efromthev

Lurker
I installed liberty 1.5 and love it but I installed one of the different keyboards on there. It seems to be no matter which one I click on out of the 3 (blur, froyo, and gingerbread) they all look the same. I just want the regular keyboard back, how do I do this?

I had the same issue - the new Gingerbread Keyboard is small, badly laid out and annoying in several ways (although I like the color scheme).

To go back:

1. Create a Restore Point in Clockworks Recovery (if you are paranoid).
2. Open "Settings."
3. Open "Applications."
4. Open "Manage Applications."
5. Click "All" tab.
6. Uninstall "Gingerbread Keyboard."
7. Find "Swype" and "stop" the process/application and "clear data."
8. Click "yes" or "accept" that you are clearing all data.

That should fix it. Reboot to make sure it sticks.:D
