Getting "Connection Refused" while trying to access site from work

I sent in a "feedback" email over a week ago and still have not yet received a response. I am able to access Youtube along with any other "media" type site you can think of, however this site is giving me the "connection refused" page.

Any possible theories on why this is the case? Could androidforums be blocking hits coming from my works' address?

have you checked with your IT department? how about on someones else's pc? how about other forums?

When a block is placed on the forum side of things you will be told by a vbulletin page why.

What IP you tryin to access with? Can you get to Phandroid or is that blocked as well?

Bigmerf - I have not yet contacted IT as this is the only site being blocked of all forum / media type sites I visit.

Phases - I'm unable to access both the forums along with phandroid. My IP is 162.119.238.163 and the exact error I receive is "network error (tcp_error)"

Something similar happened to me not too long ago with Phandroid, Android Forums, and more recently Android Applications. It ultimately cleared up promptly after making a call to my ISP.

What ISP does your work use? (ie. Cox, Comcast, etc.)

Can this issue be reproduced with other computers on the same network connection?

I'll nag Rob to see if you happen to be on a ban list, but I doubt it. Probably more like Trident's problem..
