Alright so now we have root! so how do we go about getting devs to make roms for us and more specifically the android 4.0. the source was just released not too long ago but we need to raise the devs eyebrow to this phone how can we do that!!!

I think we are going to need a custom recovery before we get the ROMs. So lets root for that!

Well Yeah your right! i got ahead then! but we already know how to get to the recovery screen we just need the recovery console? hmmm well the issue still lays who can we get to do that for us!

so lets get this straight we need these things to mkae it happen?

1.our own source code?
2. a custom recovery for our device
3. devs to make it happen?
but will the standard gingerbread source work? or is the source individual for each android device?

Just watch the URL below (in the Service section) to see when they release Android kernel source for Warp. I've already asked them to release it since they done that for other platforms - and technically, under GPL they have to release it. They said to be patient. Ok, the phone has only been out in distribution for a couple weeks.

well we'll just have to wait and see but we still have to be proactive to push this as far as possible and thanx for the link

Source is needed for a custom kernel. We can get a custom recovery with out a working/booting source. Note the Prevail.
A custom kernel is needed for overclocking, voltage tweaks, and other sexy warranty voiding modifications :D
