getting hdmi cable to work

I can view pics as a slideshow, but videos or YouTube won't work. Any ideas? All I get is "media not supported" on my Samsung tv

It could be the case that your TV does not support a 480p signal over an HDMI input. I have a Vizio that works with Youtube and 480p videos that I've documented here: http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-4g...vo-playback-hd-720p-movies-over-hdmi-out.html

I've also tried my Evo HDMI out with a TV at work -- it's a Samsung as well. It was similarly not able to accept Youtube (480p) or other 480p videos I downloaded to my Evo. However, it could playback 720p videos I had on my Evo, so it seems like a 480p input issue.
