Getting mad over droid

first i wake the phone up, then i unlock the screen, then i do what you said. clearly anything can be made harder or easier. the way it is ain't bad. i just happen to think this could be made easier. if i wanted tieing my shoes to be easier, i'd state that too. ;)

Ah, valid point.

I mean, I usually do everything two-handed anyway, because I don't want to drop my Droid, and I am never really in a situation where I can't use my phone with both hands. But I can at least see where you are coming from with this. :)

If I want to call someone, I hit the "contacts" app, go to the name of the contact, click on the picture (note, this is different than clicking on their name), and then click the phone icon that comes up. Could this be easier? Yes, but so could tieing your shoes.

If I need to call a non-contact number, I click the phone app, dial the number, and hit send. I am not sure how much easier this process can get?

 I'm just used to a phone being a phone first. Like get a call and click answer. My treo had auto answer so if it rang, I hit the unlock and it was answered. One simple step.

I understand the issues with flat screen phones needing the unlock feature but I sure would love a flip smart phone with a screen the size of the droid. Maybe made with flexible panels.

That's how it is on the Droid. When I get a call, I can either 1.) Unlock the phone (slide "thingy" left to right), which in turn answers it or 2.) Slide "thingy" right to left, which does not answer it and stops it from ringing.

Just FYI: I seemed to improve my circumstances.

-------
Just went to Privacy and did factory data reset.

After activation and signing into my google account... it went to the desktop.

All shortcuts are gone but my desktop is the same custom image.

Syncing is still occurring as I can see the icon above. Nothing seems to have synced yet... going to wait till syncing is done. time is 6:24

6:25 Just got a new email message alert for gmail.

6:26 All my applications are restored and in the application list...

signing into facebook and logging in.

Just tested the "DA" issue and it works!!

Other apps need me to redo the settings...

Everything seems much quicker and snappier at the moment. Hopefully this fixed a few things... I just uninstalled all un-used apps too.
