Help Getting movies on incredible, help.

Ok, I read a few threads. I need to know how to get movies on the incredible.

Now like I said I've read a bunch of threads, but mostly, I'm an idiot when it comes to most computer stuff.

Can I rip DVDs I have and get them on my phone?
If not regular DVDs, can I rip Netflix DVDs?

Once I figure that out, what is the simplest way to convert them to a format for me to use it on my phone? And what is said format?
And what resolution do I want normal movies on to watch them on my phone?

I know this will sound weird, but if anyone wants to help, assume I know nothing, and explain like I am a child? Lol

I convert my DVD's all the time for my LG Ally and Incredible. In order to do your store bought, you would need some kind of software that gets rid of the encryption. I use Pavtube DVD Ripper.

The software has all kinds of options for size, frame rates, bit rates, etc. so you will have to play around with these settings to get the best combination of picture quality and file size to your liking. If you get the software (you'll have to pay for it), I can help further with that down the road if you need me too. I've found a nice set of settings that has minimal file size and better than average quality. The one thing I will say though is that you won't have to adjust the size. Most DVD's are 720x480 and our screens are 800x480 so they will actually fit on the screen with room to spare.
