Help Getting my attention

I am deaf. I need to have more alert than what is offered right now.

Whenever I have incoming text message, the phone vibrates for very short time,, about one second then it stops. For me, that is not enough. I need something to REALLY alert me,,, there is NO WAY I could feel one second worth of buzz if the phone is in my pocket.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

There are plenty text apps in the Marketplace try one of them, or contact an app developer and work with them to get what you need, hope this helps
