getting on the internet?

Glace

Lurker
I got the Portable hotspot wifi thing on, but whenever I google something it (and click Bowser. The other option is in Chinese), it says it cannot connect, even though my wifi is on.

It is Ainol Novo7 Mars (Chinese version )

Also, how do i get apps?

Edit: When trying to connect to the home wifi, it says obtaining ip address for a long time, then suddenly says something like Saved, Secured, and then goes back and obtainings the ip address again. Eventually it says the up address is poor, but I am using it on this computer currently.

Hi Glace welcome to Android Forums.

I know how you feel, I live in China. Soon get used to it though.

On devices with Chinese software, apps usually come from a Chinese app store. You should be able to install apps from sites like Slideme and Appbrain though. Android tablets in China don't have Google Play and the Google apps.

What you've actually got is a tablet that was made and intended for use in Mainland China. Did it come from Ebay or a Chinese wholesaler like Alibaba?

Edit: When trying to connect to the home wifi, it says obtaining ip address for a long time, then suddenly says something like Saved, Secured, and then goes back and obtainings the ip address again. Eventually it says the up address is poor, but I am using it on this computer currently.

Now here's the problem, cheap devices from China sometimes do have wifi problems. Probably nothing you can do, except maybe send it back for a refund or a replacement. Does it work on a regular home wifi router rather your portable hotspot MyFi thing?
