Still check this forum but not as often as usual.

Contract is up in Sept. also, no idea what will replace this incredible phone yet but, it'll have to be pretty damned good! ;)

I drop in a couple of times every day, thanks to the Phandroid app.

Really happy with my setup now (dGb) , so I mainly lurk and read. Occasionally able to help out a little.

I still frequent the forums, daily in most cases but my first stop is pretty much the rooting sub-forum... so I kind of missed this topic the first time round
<_<
>_>
I'm due an upgrade next month, but nothing really grabs me yet and i'm the kind of person that likes to have "the next big bit of kit" which probably means i'll end up with a Galaxy SIII or whatever iteration of next Google phone, but we'll see.

I'm going to miss my Desire and the community feel, the phone was so popular and the ROMs so frequent, I don't think another phone will ever quite match it but hey ho, onwards and upwards as "they" say.

I think I share a similar sentiment that most of us who have had our Desires for a while now feel comfortable with what we're running and have settled in nicely. I've been running the latest Oxygen since mid-November and I haven't had much urge to tweak things lately.

Exactly, DC - Ive Oxygen.rom - the last but 1 with the FM radio.

I had to do a reset y.day which took most of the afternoon as I put a call recorder on the phone that seemed to not make me heard on phone calls... lol

I'm happy with oxygen as I use zeam - reckon ICS is stretching the Desire a bit too much tbh. Last i heard wsa the camera on some ROMS wasnt working soo everything is working on mine - jobsagood'un

Hi all, still look in for Desire news, obviously because ive got a Samsung Galaxy s2 i need to be on that forum for help, i have rooted it,rommed and added new kernal, and i have to say its pretty impressive and highly recommended, there is one fault that is the echo problem that most people have when someone is on the other end,i have bought a solid case instead of a gel one and that helps, anyways hi and as always best android forum around.:)

I'm still lurking. Not really knowledgeable enough to help others with issues, but I still read and see what I can pick up from others.

Not on any contract, purchased outright. On a 30 day sim so could move if I wanted to. As a phone my Desire does all I need it to, and have purchased a tablet for playing games on anyway. The bigger screen is pretty handy.

Probably stick with my Desire for some time to come TBH. Never had a phone contract before; and the thought of being tied into a 2 year contract scares me. If there was something to really tempt me I'd probably just save up for it and buy it outright again, selling the Desire on to put towards it.
