Root Getting ready to root my evo, need a lil help

OK so like many of us im waiting patiently for the new unrevoked to come out so i can root my 2.02hboot 3.3 evo. I read somewhere that before attempting i should do a nand backup. Cool except for that fact that i have no idea what it is or how to do it... can someone steer me in the right direction?

You must have root before you can do a nand.

oh ok. So there is no way to make a back up before I make an attempt to root my phone?

you can backup your SD card to your computer if you want, thats about it. One of the many benefits of rooting, is that you can do a Nand backup
