Getting rich quick?

The Android market seems to be a place that you can get rich quick.

I'm saying this because I feel the 15 min refund system is all wrong. Why shouldn't a customer that's purchasing have the usual statutory rights?

If you have bought something on the basis of the seller’s description or a sample, you should expect the item to conform exactly to that description or sample. If it does not, you have the right to reject the goods, demand a full refund and possibly claim damages. This is still the case even where you have selected or examined the items for yourself before buying them.

Ok I'm not complaining because I've lost

Don't you have 24 hours to refund your money?

Hmm, I just looked on the market and it is only 15 minutes...

Did they change it?

At one point, it was definitely 24 hours. Not sure when they changed it.

You can't create a junk app, sell it for $0.99, and expect to get rich simply because of the 15-min rule. A junky app will be rated as such by those who tried it and saw it for what it was. With a low rating, I'd me much less inclined to put money down on it.

I don't think I've ever purchased an app that was less than 4.5 stars.

On refunds - when does the 15 minutes start? I bought an Audubon book that had at least a 1 hour update to get all the info. You can't run the program until all the info is downloaded. That's a lot longer that 15 minutes and is something a user has no control over.
I'm happy with the purchase, but the times and policy seem to be at odds.
